Est. 2024, the Dane County Dairy Kings Ice Hockey Club™ is a Senior A, Amateur Ice Hockey team in the Great Lakes Hockey League. Our team name & logo represent agriculture and the world famous dairy industry in our area. We hope to become a staple event in Verona and the surrounding area communities. Our games will be action packed, exciting, interactive and affordable.

Our mission is to make the exciting game of full contact ice hockey accessible to as many people as possible, to help grow the game, to bring the community together for some fun and to provide an exciting and meaningful avenue for our players to continue their competitive ice hockey careers.  All players will be tasked with helping run the club in some shape or form and will gain skills in management, public interaction, fundraising, and mentoring youth through community engagements such as parades, fall festivals, youth hockey camps and practices etc.

Our players are mostly locally born, raised and developed. Any profits go right back into sustaining the team (and hopefully soon, if we're in the financial position to do so, into local groups such as youth sports and educational opportunities). Additionally, we make every effort to source all our equipment and other resources locally.  

Our Dairy Barn, Verona Ice Arena, is awesome and even has a 65 seat mezzanine near the bar. You can support us by buying tickets and coming to see us play, by buying beverages at the arena bar during our games or via sponsorship (send us an email at DairyKingsHockey@gmail.com).

The food/snack concessions are operated by Verona Youth Hockey Association and all those proceeds go to that wonderful organization. So come on out, eat, drink, ring a cowbell, cheer for your favorite hometown players and have some fun! We can't wait to see you at our games.
